Age and Driving Experience

Minimum age of 20 years and at least 2 years of driving experience;

Documents

For citizens of the Republic of Belarus and CIS countries
• Passport;
• Driver's License;

For legal entities:
• General civil passport;
• Driver's license of the person driving the vehicle;
• Copy of the certificate of state registration of the legal entity;
• Power of attorney for the right to sign car rental agreements and vehicle handover acts;
• Payment order.

Car Return

The one-day rate entitles you to use the car for 24 hours. If this period is exceeded by more than 2 hours, the standard daily rate is charged for each subsequent day of rental in full. The minimum rental period is 24 hours. The client returns the car clean, for the convenience of assessing any damages.

Security Deposit

The deposit amount for the car during the rental period depends on the class of the selected vehicle. The deposit is made in cash or by cashless payment and is returned after the car is returned and all Conditions and rules of the Car Rental Agreement are met.

Payment Methods

You can pay for our services in a way convenient for you either at our office or remotely:

• in cash*;
• by card;
• non-cash payment.

*prices in USD or RUB are for reference only. Payment is made in BYN.

Insurance

The company's vehicles are insured under the mandatory policy and CASCO.

What documents are required to rent a car?

• National ID or Passport
• Valid Driver's License applicable in the Republic of Belarus
• Any third document of your choice: Tax ID, International Passport, Military ID, etc.

Are there any age restrictions for renting a car?

Car rental in our company is available to individuals over 20 years old, with a driver's license and a minimum of 2 years driving experience. These requirements are due to the insurance conditions of our vehicles.

How far in advance do I need to book a car?

A car can be booked no later than 24 hours before the car is handed over to the client. For more details, please contact our manager.

What is the mileage limit set by the rental agreement?

All mileage limits set by CAR LUX are calculated individually for different classes of vehicles, on average it is 250 km per day. You can always clarify all the conditions for the selected car by calling us.

Can I rent a car for a trip abroad?

It is possible to travel abroad in CAR LUX vehicles only with prior agreement. If you plan to leave the Republic of Belarus, you must purchase additional Green card insurance, which provides liability coverage outside the country.

What should I do in case of an accident during the rental?

In case of an accident, you must:
• Immediately call the traffic police and obtain a copy of the report detailing the damages to the car
• Record addresses and phone numbers of witnesses
• Within 2 days provide all documents and information to us.
If all documents from the traffic police are provided, liability is limited to the deposit. Otherwise, you will need to pay the full cost of the repairs.

What should I do if the car breaks down during the rental?

In case of a car breakdown, you must:
• Immediately stop using the car
• Promptly inform the Lessor about all breakdowns or malfunctions.

How can I cancel a reservation and get a refund?

In case of booking cancellation after the prepayment has been made, the funds are non-refundable. The prepayment is a non-refundable deposit that guarantees the vehicle reservation and partially compensates for its downtime in the event of cancellation.
If the vehicle is returned earlier than the agreed term, no recalculation of the rental cost or refund of funds is made. The payment is retained in full according to the original rate of the booked period, and the service is deemed to have been rendered.
